This policy explains what DickinsonBros LLC ("we", "us") collects through this website (www.dickinsonbros.com) and the web version of Roller Coaster Maker, and what we do with it. Our other apps, when released, will describe their own data use in their store listings.

The short version

• No account, no email address and no real name are needed to play.
• Your coasters and settings are saved in your own browser.
• If you use the online features, we store an anonymous device ID, the display name you choose, and the coasters you share.
• We collect anonymous gameplay and crash data to fix bugs. We do not store your IP address with it, and raw events are deleted after 90 days.
• No ads. We do not sell or rent your data.

1. Saved in your browser

Roller Coaster Maker saves your coasters, progress and settings in your browser's local storage on your device. This data stays on your device unless you choose to share a coaster. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it.

2. Online features

Online features (sharing coasters, seeing and riding other players' coasters, likes and leaderboards) are new and experimental. When you use them, our game server stores:

• An anonymous device ID. A random identifier created by the game. It is not tied to your name, email or advertising ID.
• Your display name. The name you choose to show next to your coasters and scores. Please do not use your real name.
• Coasters you share, with their likes, ride counts and scores. Shared coasters can be seen and ridden by other players.

3. Gameplay and crash analytics

The game sends anonymous events, such as "coaster finished", "ride started" or an error report, tagged with the anonymous device ID. We use them only to find bugs and improve the game. We do not store IP addresses with these events. Raw events are deleted after 90 days; we may keep aggregated totals (for example, the number of rides per day) that cannot identify anyone.

4. Website hosting

This site and the game's online service are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes network information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service. This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We use service providers (such as our hosting and network provider) only to run the site and game. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Children

Roller Coaster Maker is suitable for all ages. We do not ask for email addresses, and we do not create email-based accounts for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children should not use their real names as display names. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your choices and deletion

• Play offline-only by not using the sharing features.
• Clear your browser's site data to delete local saves.
• To delete your shared coasters and the data linked to your device ID, email us with your display name (and share codes, if you have them). We will handle verified requests within 30 days.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will also be noted on the updates page.
